Privacy Policy

HiringHero processes information you provide, content created through your use of the service, and limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service.

• Account and contact information, such as your email address, name, phone number, location, and portfolio links.
• Career information, including work history, education, skills, certifications, professional summaries, and other Master Profile details.
• Saved jobs, job descriptions, analyses, resume drafts, application records, notes, and documents you create or import.
• Authentication, security, rate-limit, and service-operation information needed to prevent abuse and diagnose problems.

We use information to provide requested career tools, authenticate accounts, save your work, generate and improve career documents, analyze jobs and profile alignment, export documents, track applications, protect the service, provide support, and meet legal obligations.

When you request an AI-assisted feature, HiringHero may send the relevant profile, resume, or job content to an AI service provider to produce the requested result. Do not include sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for the career task.

AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review generated content before submitting it to an employer or using it in a career decision. Additional details are available in the AI Use Notice.

HiringHero uses service providers for hosting, authentication, database storage, AI processing, security, and related operations. Current core providers include Vercel, Supabase, and OpenAI. Official job-information providers such as USAJOBS may also process search or import requests when you use those features. Providers may process information under their applicable agreements and privacy terms.

HiringHero uses cookies and similar technologies needed for sign-in, session security, preferences, and core operation. We may process limited request, error, and feature-usage information to protect and improve the service. HiringHero does not currently use third-party behavioral advertising cookies.

We disclose information to service providers as needed to operate HiringHero, when you direct us to do so, to protect users or the service, or when required by law. We do not currently sell personal information for money or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We retain application information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect HiringHero.

Authenticated users can permanently delete their account from Account settings. The deletion workflow removes application data and sign-in access. A limited deletion record containing an account identifier and deletion time may be retained to prevent stale sessions from restoring access and to document completion. Service providers may retain limited backups or security records according to their policies and legal obligations.

You can review and edit career information in the application, download a JSON copy of core application data from Account settings, and delete your account using the self-service deletion workflow.

Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, or obtain a portable copy of personal information. Contact support for a request not covered by the self-service tools. We may need to verify your identity.

HiringHero uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including authenticated access and encrypted provider connections. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

HiringHero and its providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. Privacy protections may differ from those in your location.

HiringHero is intended for people who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact support.

HiringHero does not currently connect directly to LinkedIn accounts, scrape LinkedIn, or post to LinkedIn. Pasted text is processed only when a user chooses to submit it. Any future direct integration will require an approved authorization mechanism and updated notice.

Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to support@hiringhero.ai. Never send your password, authentication code, API key, or complete government identifier.

We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The revised effective date will be posted on this page, and additional notice may be provided for material changes.
